Learning at the Iraqi Institute.

Post by Nihayet.

Taking notes in the conservation laboratory.

We students at the Iraqi Institute have many experiences and learn information about conservation of many kinds of artifacts from the hands of our professors from around the world.  We consider this a rare opportunity for us and we are lucky to participate in the Iraqi Institute’s development.  The reason is that there is no other University or Institute that teaches these things in Iraq.  What we learn here at the Institute is how to care for the artifacts for the future.

Learning about chemistry for conservation.
